ABOUT GOVERNMENT INFORMATION - COLLECTION PROFILES
UC Davis library collects government information in all formats and from many government agencies.
Government publications and information are multidisciplinary in subject. They are important to find statistical data, congressional, legislative, and regulatory information, policy analysis, scientific and technical data and much more.
We provide assistance with government documents and government information from the Humanities, Social Sciences and Government Information Services Department.
The library is a selective depository library for United States Federal Government Information, receiving congressional and executive agency documents, both print and online, from the U.S. Government Printing Office throught the Federal Depository Library Program.
The library is a California state government depository library and also collects local and regional government publications from Yolo County, Davis, City, the Sacramento Regional Council of Governments, and other local and regional governments.
International organization publications and information are collected extensively from the United Nations, FAO, OECD, IMF and other organizations, and the library is also a depository for Asian Development Bank publications. Foreign government doucments are also collected selectively.
