The UC Davis Student Library Advisory Council [SLAC] was formed in Fall 2012 to advise the University Library on library policies, services, collections and spaces.
The Council broadly represents the academic programs and overall diversity of UC Davis and is responsible for:
1. Holding regular meetings to discuss and advise on library issues.
2. Acting as a sounding board for new library initiatives.
3. Participating in campus events and meetings, as requested, by the UC Davis Library Administration.
4. Advocating for the library among the UC Davis undergraduate community.
