Option 1: 

Many students choose to attend schools or universities outside their home countries. Why do some students study abroad? This question requires you to analyze the reasons why students choose to study abroad. Use specific reasons and details from your research to explain your answer. (Note: This should not be a personal narrative).
 

Option 2:
Choose one of the following types of transportation and explain how you think it has changed people’s lives (you may discuss the type of transportation in any context): automobiles, bicycles, airplanes, trains. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
