Federal Regulations

After a law is passed by Congress, authority to implement rules and regulations may be delegated to the agency responsible for implementing the law.  This quick guide provides links to Federal regulations.  Regulations are not laws passed by Congress; they are regulations written by Federal agencies, with the authorization of congressional acts.

These links go to FDsys - the Federal digital system for authentic government information from the Government Printing Office.  To search any files by keywords, go to the Advanced Fdsys search.

  • Code of Federal Regulations
