    The California Research Bureau (CRB) provides nonpartisan research services to the Governor and his staff, to both houses of the Legislature, and to other elected State officials. Research reports are available online.
  • California Senate Office of Research
    The Senate Office of Research (SOR) is a nonpartisan office charged with serving the research needs of the California State Senate and assisting Senate members and committees with the development of effective public policy. The published reports are excellent sources for policy information. Search for publications in the "Publications" table or by policy area.

    The Legislative Analyst's Office (LAO) provides independent, nonpartisan analysis, research, and advice to the Legislature on fiscal and policy issues.
